Finally, all of Meyer’s 8 main characters finally meet and work together in Winter. The shifting viewpoints surrounding these characters was confusing in the earlier novels but now that all the characters are all in one place, sorting out what is happening, who is involved, and guessing what might happen next is much easier and more fun to read.
Winter may be the final novel in this series but fans should not be disappointed. Companion novels for The Lunar Chronicles do exist. Readers can choose to see Levana’s point of view in Fairest or discover the back history of some of our heroes in Stars Above. Nevertheless, readers who do not want to leave The Lunar Chronicles universe will have plenty of options to choose from after the last page of Winter is read.
Readers who have stuck this long with The Lunar Chronicles will find that Winter is a fantastic and and thrilling conclusion to a wonderful series.
